Welcome!

This site is a growing archive of information relating to the Fetha-Lite wooden-bodied coach-built prams which were manufactured by Greenwood and Company Limited, based for most of their existence in the mill on Lincoln Street, Old Basford, Nottingham. The company operated from 1921 to 1981.

The authors are direct descendants of the Greenwood family which originally owned the business. Unfortunately following the passing of Alan Greenwood, the last owner and MD, only limited material exists about the Company. What we do have will be added to this site over time. We also include material gleaned from the Internet and newspaper archives etc. It is intended to deposit the limited documentation we have with the Nottingham Archives, once it has been sorted.

If you have any queries or useful information about Greenwoods, Fetha-Lite or the old corn mill at Basford please do not hesitate to contact us via our Contact Page. We are also on Facebook.
